Canon HF100

The Vixia HF100 and Vixia HF10 are HD cameras developed by Canon . The release was announced in January 2008, and the cameras went on sale in April 2008. The cameras are capable of recording in high-definition AVCHD format, and the drive is full-format Secure Digital High Capacity cards.

The camera has 4 recording modes: FXP (1920 x 1080, 17 Mb / s), XP + (1440 x 1080, 12 Mb / s), SP (1440 x 1080, 7 Mb / s), as well as LP (1440 x 1080 , 5 Mbps). A 16GB SDHC card can hold up to two hours of video in FXP mode. A 4 GB card will hold 30 minutes of video in maximum quality. File size and recording duration is limited only by the size of the memory card.

Possible shooting modes are 1080p 25 (30) FPS, 1080i 50 (60) FPS.

The Vixia HF10 model differs from the Vixia HF100 in color (100-gray, 10-black) and the presence of built-in 16 GB.
