History
The first producer of the Propaganda group was Sergey Izotov. The group’s first hit was the song “Mel”, which appeared on the air of the Europa Plus radio station on September 1, 2001 . Victoria Voronina, Victoria Petrenko and Julia Garanina - participants of the first part of "Propaganda", the authors of all songs of the album "Kids" [1] . The reason for the collapse of the first composition was the disagreement between the girls and the leadership. Victoria Petrenko left the squad, and Yulia Garanina left behind in support of her.
After Petrenko and Garanina left the group, new members were accepted - Olga Moreva and Ekaterina Oleinikova. The image of teenage girls was radically changed and transformed according to the desire of the producer. In 2003, there was a rotation of the composition. The team included three girls: Vika Voronina, Katya Oleinikova and Olga Moreva.
The peak of the group’s popularity fell on the period of its initial composition, but, despite the declining popularity, in the following years the hits “Five Minutes to Love”, “Ya-ya”, “Super Baby”, “Quanta Costa” and others were released. But after the clip “Quanta Costa” “Propaganda” began to lose popularity due to problems with financing and, as a result, a decrease in promotion.
In 2007, Sergei Ivanov became the producer of the group (previously he was their director).
In 2008, the album “You Are My Boyfriend” was released, which did not have much success and was met with a negative review by Aleksey Mazhaev , who called the album a futile attempt to “cling to the tail of a waved blue bird” [2] [3] . Among the most famous songs of the album "Not Simple" and "He accompanied me."
In the winter of 2010, the group released a new single, “You Know,” (words by Victoria Voronina, music by Alexander Yankovsky). Despite the modest success on the radio (the song reached only 78 places on the Russian radio chart, the main parameters of the track rotation on radio stations operating in the TOPHIT.RU system), the single became a successful digital release, taking the 7th line of the Russian chart of digital singles. In the same year, the single “To the moon by subway” was released.
In December 2010, Victoria Voronina announced the beginning of a solo career and left the group. On February 16, 2012, the group’s website officially announced the debut of the third soloist of the Propaganda group, Victoria Bogoslavskaya, a member of the Star Factory-4. Victoria stayed in the group for only a month and since June 2012 she was replaced by Maria Nedelkova, who soon also left the team. Since September 2012, “Propaganda” has been performing in its former composition - Maria Bukatar - Anastasia Shevchenko. The group releases the song "No - Yes." From this moment, the songwriter is Sergey Ivanov, who has also been using the pseudonym "Propaganda" since 2012. In November 2012, the single “Girlfriend” was recorded (lyrics by Sergey Ivanov, music by Alexander Yankovsky), in March 2013 a video was shot, which became one of the main hits of the current composition of the group, collecting more than 10 million views on Youtube. At the same time, a new composition “I wrote love” comes out (authors Sergey Ivanov, Evgenia Basova, Alexander Yankovsky, music Alexander Yankovsky). On October 11, the release of the new track “Banal Story” took place together with Master Spensor.
On November 5, 2013, the video “I wrote love” was released, which received rotation in Ukraine. November 19, 2013 release of the track “Dad, you're right” (music: Alexander Yankovsky, Sergey Ivanov; lyrics: Sergey Ivanov). On April 8, 2014, the single “Sorry” was premiered. After 2 days, the track hit the charts and took 3rd place. He stayed on this position for a week. May 13, 2014 the release of the 12th studio album, which was called "Purple Powder". Rita Skiter (Intermedia) in her review noted that the intelligible lyrics and the unpretentious arrangements of most of the songs “create the feeling of a re-release of some ancient album” [4] . March 8, 2015 on the air DFM started in rotation composition "Magic".
From October 10 to November 28, 2015, the Russian Musicbox TV channel showed the reality show “Hit the Propaganda.” In the final of the project, new members of the group Maya Podolskaya, Veronika Kononenko and Marina Shevchenko were determined [5] . And Maria Bukatar and Anastasia Shevchenko announced the beginning of a solo career. In November 2015, the single and video “I am leaving you” was released - a joint work of the Propaganda group consisting of Maria Bukatar and Anastasia Shevchenko and the TRES rapper. The finalists of the show, new members of the team, also took part in the filming of the video clip.

Notes
- ↑ 1 2 Alexey Mazhaev . “PROPAGANDA” - “CHILDREN” . Reviews and reviews . InterMedia News Agency (03/15/2002). - “Fortunately, the musical interests of the“ propagandists ”are not limited to a hip-hop parody. Almost all the songs on the debut disc contain, in addition to recitative, interesting melodic moves. Two girls mutter, a third sings, and not bad. The album has several songs that are different from the point of view of motive - “Chalk”, “Nobody”, “Who?”, “Ice Paradise”, funny “Breeze”. I wonder who writes the music to them, I thought, and reached into the booklet for an answer. It says that the participants in the trio compose everything themselves. If this is true, then “Propaganda” should go much further than the covers of children's magazines. But, most likely, a strong producer's hand was put to the music, which mounted girlish ideas into integral hit works. Be that as it may, the result is surprising: the kids' pop record is not ashamed to listen to in any company. Even the “Prayer” with a quote from “Our Father” “Propaganda” managed to do without the vulgar tear typical of such experiments. It turns out that youthful maximalism can look quite cute, and in a hip-hop, pronounced a little burry artist, there is some kind of zest. " Date of treatment September 9, 2018.
