A collective agreement is a legal act regulating social and labor relations in an organization or an individual entrepreneur and concluded by employees and the employer in the person of their representatives (as defined in Article 40 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation ). The collective agreement at the enterprise is entered into by the employer and the workers' union or authorized representatives of the workers, if the workers are not united in the union.

Content and structure of a collective agreement
The content and structure of the collective agreement is determined by the parties to the collective bargaining. The collective agreement may include mutual obligations of the parties on the following issues: forms, systems and amounts of remuneration , cash remuneration, benefits , compensation , surcharges ; the mechanism of regulation of remuneration on the basis of rising prices , inflation , performance indicators determined by the collective agreement; employment , retraining, conditions for the release of workers; working time and rest time , vacations ; improving the conditions and labor protection of young people, women and other workers; voluntary and compulsory health insurance ; respect for the interests of workers in the privatization of the enterprise , departmental housing ; environmental safety and health protection of workers at work; benefits for workers who combine work with training ; control over the implementation of the collective agreement; responsibility of the parties, social partnership , provision of conditions for the functioning of trade unions , other authorized employees of executive bodies ; refusal to strike under the conditions included in this collective agreement, with their timely and full implementation.
Features of the regulation of collective bargaining procedures in the Russian Federation
- A collective agreement is concluded for a period of up to three years and can be extended for a total period (term).
