The shooting took place in the main farm Kanygin , as well as in the village of Razdorskaya [1] [2] [3] Rostov Region . These were the native places of the writer Anatoly Kalinin. Songs and dances are performed by artists of the Gypsy Theater "Romen" and the Don Cossack Ensemble of the city of Ust-Donetsk, Rostov Region [4] .
In 1993, the four-episode television movie “Gypsy Island” was released: episode 1 - “Budulai, which is not expected”; 2 series - “Shadows of the past years”; Episode 3 - “A Bitter Wedding”; 4 series - “Sunflowers do not bloom in winter”. In 1994, the film “Budulai, which is not expected” was edited [1] .
Content
Story
Budulay spent ten years in prison and returns to the Don village. His wife is dead. He did not know that his son was brought up by a resident of one of the Cossack villages Claudia Pukhlyakova. Soon the paths of Budulai and Claudius intersect. But not for long…
