Content
Story
The action takes place in pre-revolutionary Odessa , in the region of the legendary Moldavanka . The story is built on the pages of the life of the Mendel Crick family, who is going to sell his stable, famous throughout Odessa, and leave the family for the sake of the beautiful Maruska. Against the backdrop of these events, his son Benya takes the situation into his own hands, becomes the head of the family, marries his sister Dvoir and prevents a police raid ... Benya Creek is called the King.
