Story
The middle of May 1905. Five sailors from the crew of the Russian cruiser " Svetlana ", who died in the Tsushima battle , are thrown onto the Korean coast ... Meanwhile, Japanese treasure hunters are searching for the ancient tomb of the Goguryou era ruler of Korea. Seeing how Japanese robbers offend an old woman, Russians rush into a fight. They come to the aid of the brave fisherman Barame, the keeper of the ancient mounds. The Japanese set fire to a forest shack where travelers stopped to accuse the Russians of a crime against the Korean state. However, local peasants themselves are attacking uninvited guests, seeing that they are seeking to find the sacred temple in the tiger gorge. The Japanese squad is defeated, but the young sailor Dobrysh is also killed. Having received horses, Russian sailors continue their journey to the north.
