History
The division was formed in Petrozavodsk , Medvezhyegorsk , Nurmolitsy .
In the army from 06/22/1941 to 09/09/1941.
Started arriving in Karelia 06/23/1941.
On June 27, 1941, it was stationed in Loymol , being in the reserve of the front. In the battles with the Finnish troops did not participate. At the beginning of July 1941, it was transferred to another sector of the front; on 07.07.1941, the last echelons with a division departed from the Loymola station, in the area of the Luga border .
On July 11-12, 1941, she took up positions in the area of the city of Soltsy , northeast of the village of Gorodishche , 20 km northwest of the city of Soltsy, covering the road Gorodishche - Utorgosh . 07/13/1941 units of the division participated in the counterattack of formations on Soltsy , advanced to the south-west. Then she was forced to retreat, and at the beginning of August 1941 she occupied positions in the area of the Menuyusha village, 14 kilometers north of the city of Shimsk . It was surrounded in that area on 08/13/1941, emerged from it as a remnant, rolled back to the north during August 1941 from the Shimsk area towards Chudovo - Lyuban . On 08/29/1941 in the division there were only 1900 people.
In September 1941, the division was disbanded, and the remaining personnel poured into the 70th Infantry Division .
