Name Origin
It was named in 1963 in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel General Vasily Vasilyevich Glagolev (1896-1947), who lived in the area of ββthis street. Glagolev was a participant in the First World War and the Civil War . In World War II, he commanded a division, corps and armies. Since 1946, he commanded the airborne troops .
Description
General Glagolev Street starts from Marshal Zhukov Avenue, runs north parallel to General Karbyshev Boulevard , crosses Marshal Tukhachevsky Street , then Parshin Street leaves to the left, ends on Berzarin Street. The development is mainly five-story, inside the blocks there are also typical multi-story buildings. Part of the five-story houses is demolished, in their place new ones are being built.

Transport
On the street there is the General Glagolev trolleybus station with the final only trolleybus route No. 59 (Glagoleva - Sokol metro), which passes along Glagolev only towards Marshal Tukhachevsky Street. He walks back along General Karbyshev Boulevard and Marshal Zhukov Avenue. On the part of General Glagolev Street from Marshal Tukhachevsky Street to Marshal Zhukov Avenue, bus route 155 passes; from Marshal Tukhachevsky Street to Parshin Street - bus route number 253. Metro stations are quite far: Oktyabrskoe Pole about 2 km from the end of the street, Schukinskaya station 2.5 km
