Dovletabad-Donmez (until 1991 - Sovetabad) is a large gas field in Turkmenistan . Located in Mary region , in the south-eastern part of the country, near the town of Serakhs . Opened in 1982 . Mastering began in 1983 . Dovletabad is located near the Iranian border , its extension is one of the largest gas fields in Iran, Hangiran .

Dovletabad and its transportation
Refers to the Turanskaya oil and gas province of the Murgab oil and gas region . Gas content is associated with deposits of Cretaceous and Jurassic age. Deposits formation arch.
