Glebovsky bridge - a low-road single-span girder metal bridge over the Yauzu River , connects the Preobrazhenskoye, Bogorodskoye and Sokolniki districts of the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow . Connects Deer and Bogorodsky ramparts . Scope: automobile.

At the same level perpendicular to the bridge are:

On the left bank: to the bridge - Projected passage number 1888; after the bridge - the promenade of Gannushkina .
On the right bank: to the bridge - Projected passage number 1889; after the bridge - Rusakovskaya embankment .

Name Origin

The name comes from the name of the dam, which was in this place.

History

The first bridge was built in the 19th century.
Wooden bridge, built in 1924
In 1982, the bridge was rebuilt ^[1] on a straightened riverbed ^{[2] to} replace the previously existing one. The railing is metal welded, on reinforced concrete supports.
In 2003 it was closed for reconstruction ^[3] .
In April 2004, after overhaul, it was again put into operation ^[4] . Railing made of polymer composite materials.

Interesting fact.

The Yauza River is navigable for small vessels from the mouth to the Glebovsky (according to other sources, the Oleniy ) bridge ^[5] .
