Name Origin

The name comes from the name of the dam, which was in this place.

History

  • The first bridge was built in the 19th century.
  • Wooden bridge, built in 1924
  • In 1982, the bridge was rebuilt [1] on a straightened riverbed [2] to replace the previously existing one. The railing is metal welded, on reinforced concrete supports.
  • In 2003 it was closed for reconstruction [3] .
  • In April 2004, after overhaul, it was again put into operation [4] . Railing made of polymer composite materials.

  • The Yauza River is navigable for small vessels from the mouth to the Glebovsky (according to other sources, the Oleniy ) bridge [5] .
