“Student” is a sculptural composition, one of the monuments of Donetsk .

The monument was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the founding of Donetsk National University and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Economics and Law.
The authors of the monument are sculptors Nikolai Novikov and Dmitry Ilyukhin from Gorlovka . The project was led by Peter Antipin . The sculpture was cast at Donetskstal CJSC.
Several versions of the sculptural composition were developed, among which students chose the final one by voting.
The monument was unveiled on September 6, 2007 in the courtyard of the new building of the Economics and Law Faculty of Donetsk National University . The opening was attended by the author of the monument Nikolay Novikov , project manager Pyotr Antipin , rector of Donetsk National University Vladimir Shevchenko , dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law Vyacheslav Volkov.
The monument is a bench next to which is a full-length student sculpture. The student rests on a bench with his hand and knee. On the other hand, shops are textbooks on universal and constitutional law of Ukraine, a mantle and a confederate .
