Biography

For most of his career, William Araujo plays as a leased player to other clubs. Even now, when Araujo won the Libertadores Cup with LDU and became a finalist of the Club World Cup, the rights to the football player belong to the modest club of the Police Academy of Quito ESPOLI from Ecuadorian Serie A. He is a pupil of this club, as well as El Nacional.

In the 2008 Libertadores Cup , in which LDU won the international trophy for the first time in the history of Ecuadorian football, it became one of the key players in the team. Often, in a winning tournament, he strengthened the game with a substitution (out of 12 matches held in 8, he replaced).

At the end of the 2011 Ecuador Championship, William Araujo left LDU and signed a contract with the Technico Universario team.
