Masashi Tashiro , or Marcy , ( Jap. 田 代 ま さ し , Tashiro Masashi , born August 31, 1956 in the Prefect. Saga , resides in Shinjuku , Tokyo ) - a comedian famous for all of Japan , a television show, a tenor-vocalist of the Rats & Star ensemble, also famous for his loud scandals. Since 2000, he has repeatedly been prosecuted and serving sentences for scandalous behavior and drug use.
It was announced as the “ Man of the Year ” by Time magazine in 2001 , well ahead of Osam Bin-Laden and George W. Bush.
In Japan, he became famous primarily as a master of the genre of d дjare ( jap. 駄 洒落 , dajare) (puns of the Japanese language), for which he was nicknamed "the king of djjare".
