Rudnichny (Perm Territory)

Rudnichny (formerly Artemyevka) - until 2004, an urban-type settlement as part of the Kizelovsky municipal district . Since December 27, 2004 it has been part of the city of Kizel . It is located south of the main part of the city on the border of the Kizelovsky municipal district and the Gubakhinsky urban district on the slope of a rather high slope. North of Rudnichny is the highest point - 424 m.

History

The history of the occurrence of Rudnichny is associated with the opening in 1783 of the Artemyevsky mine . A settlement of the same name was built for workers. In 1910, the population of the Artemyevsky mine totaled 829 people (123 yards). In the village were: a chapel, which later became the Orthodox Church, a school, 3 trading shops. Torzhki were in the village on November 20.

In January 1939, the Rudnichnaya mine was commissioned in the village. On April 17, 1944, Artemyevsky (Artyomovsky) received the status of an urban-type settlement and a new name - the mine settlement “ Rudnichnaya .” The settlement reached its greatest development in the 50s of the 20th century: the Upper Settlement was being built rapidly — new streets appeared with a club, library, and kindergarten , manger. In these years, a new high school building was built in the Lower Village. In 1959, the population of Rudnichny reached a maximum of 5.1 thousand people. Along with the mine " Rudnichnaya " worked a brick factory.
