Spurius Thorius ( Latin: Spurius Thorius Balbus ; died after 111 BC) is a Roman politician.

Around 111 BC er Spurius Thorium served as a tribune for the people . He amended the agrarian law: 30 land ugers issued to the landless citizens of Rome under the Gracchus brothers were transferred to their private property. Previously, the land was in their use, without the right of sale. Cicero mentions Thorium as a speaker who “was strong in speeches before the people” [1] [2] .
