Taking into account the importance and role of physical culture in the protection and strengthening of the health of the Azerbaijani people, the physical development of youth, achievement of the country's sporting honor and even higher peaks in the international arena, the President of Azerbaijan decided: “To celebrate March 5 in the Republic of Azerbaijan as“ Day of Physical Culture and Sports "".
