Content
History
The village of Balozhi was created shortly after the Second World War - workers from the local peat enterprise lived there. Baloži received city status in 1991 . Until July 1, 2009, it was part of the Riga region .
Transport
Roads
A motorway A7 Riga - Bauska - the border of Lithuania ( Grenztale ), which is part of the European route E 67 , passes through Baloži, passing around the city.
Among the local roads it should be noted V3 Ramava - Baloži and V7 Baloži - Plakanciems - Iecava .
