Final Approach ( Japanese Φ な る ・ あ ぷ ろ ー ち Fuainaru Apuro: tee ) is a computer game for the PlayStation 2 in the genre of visual novel (more precisely - the so-called " Dating Simulator "), released in October 2004 by Princess Soft . Then, in October 2004, on the basis of this plot, an anime television series was released, consisting of 13 episodes of “half” length (that is, about 12 minutes, compared with the usual duration of 23-24 minutes).

Although the title of the work consists of English words, it is not written here as a katakana , as is customary, but a hiragana (with the exception of the sign of longitude, which is usually used with katakana). Moreover, the first syllable of the name is written in the Greek letter “fi” ( Φ ), which, however, in this case is read as “fai”, in accordance with the English pronunciation.
Story
Mizuhara Ryo is an ordinary Japanese student. He is in the second grade of high school, in his spare time he works part time in a cafe, lives with his younger sister Akane and does not think about any marriage yet. Moreover, he is only 17 years old. Then one day, a young beautiful girl, Masuda Shizuka, flies into his room. Flies in the literal sense, jumping with a parachute. And with it, a lot of people break into the room in the same black jackets and with the same facial expression.
As it turns out, the Japanese government is worried about low birth rates, and has prepared a project according to which suitable partners for marriage will be selected for young people. This project is still in the testing phase, and Ryo was the first to be tested. The girl he was picked up, Shizuka, was selected by the computer as a perfect match. And now she declared herself his bride. Naturally, Ryo is not enthusiastic about such a development of events and wants to drive her away ... but it is difficult to argue with a crowd of agents in black jackets. Therefore, he agrees to temporarily leave it with him to see what comes of it ...
