Biography
She was born on March 13, 1918 in the village of Burchak , now the Mikhailovsky District of Zaporizhzhya Region of Ukraine , in a peasant family. Ukrainian . Husband - Quail Grigory Filippovich.
She worked as a teacher in the city of Nikolaev . She graduated from the flying club , Kherson Aviation School in 1940 . Worked as the instructor pilot of the Nikolaev aero club.
In the Red Army - since 1941 . On the fronts of World War II from May 1942 . Deputy squadron commander of the 46th Guards night bomber aviation regiment (218th night bomber air division, 4th air army , North Caucasian front ) of the guard junior lieutenant E. Nosal made 354 sorties to bombard enemy targets, destroying his manpower and technology.
On the night of April 22-23, 1943, when returning from a combat mission, a plane manned by E. Nosal was attacked by a German aircraft. As a result of the shelling, Evdokia was killed by a shell fragment that fell into her temple. Navigator I. Kashirina managed to independently bring the plane to the airfield and land it safely. E. Nosal was buried in a mass grave in the village of Pashkovskaya , now the microdistrict of Krasnodar ) near the pilots of the regiment P. Makogon , L. Svistunova and Yu. Pashkova [1] [2] .
The first in the 46th Guards Taman Regiment was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union (posthumous).
