The Street of the Builders (in 1958–1970 - the First Street of the Builders ) - a street of the South-Western administrative district of the city of Moscow on the border of the Gagarinsky and Lomonosovsky districts.

Content
History
The street was formed in 1958 and was named Pervaya Builders Street in honor of the builders of a new residential area in the South-West of Moscow, and in 1970 received the modern name [1] [2] .
Location
Stroiteley Street, being a continuation of Panfyorov Street , runs from Leninsky Prospect to the north-west to Vernadsky Prospekt . On the street Builders passes the border between the Gagarin and Lomonosov districts. The numbering of houses starts from Leninsky Avenue.

On the odd side:
- № 11, Bldg. 1 - residential building. Here, 1977–2007, there lived a pediatrician, academician V. A. Tabolin [3] .
- № 13, Bldg. 1 - residential building. Here lived the film director Yevgeny Ginzburg [4] .

On the even side:
- Number 4, r. 1-7 and number 6, r. 1-7 - "Red House".

Red Homes
In 1952 they began to build the first residential buildings in the South-West . Houses number 4 and 6, consisting of 7 buildings each, in terms of resemble the letter "C", facing each other. The courtyards are richly landscaped. In front of the facades facing Stroiteley Street, a garage was built (4 and 6, without buildings), the roof of which is a walking area that can be reached from both the houses and the street by climbing the stairs in the center of the garage.
The walls of the houses are lined with Melia tiles of red color, which is not typical for the construction of the South-West of Moscow. Also the houses are decorated with rich stucco, characteristic of the architecture of the Stalin Empire style . These were one of the last houses in Moscow built in this style, and one of the few houses that represent this style in the South-West [5] . Similar houses were also built in the VDNKh area and on Kuusinen street .
In the "red houses" lived:
- No. 4, building 1 — oncologist N. N. Trapeznikov (in 1954–2001) [6] , poet S.S.Narovchatov (in 1973–1981) [7] .
- No. 4, building 2 - actor Z. E. Gerdt [8] .
- No. 6, building 2 - singer Vladislav Lynkovsky, member of the Accord quartet.
- No. 4, building 7 - musicologist I.F. Belza [9] , twice Hero of the Soviet Union I.I. Fesin [10] .

- The metro station " University " of the Sokolnicheskaya line is to the north of the street, at the intersection of Vernadsky Avenue and Lomonosovsky Avenue.
