Robert Shetler-Jones ( born Robert Shetler-Jones , born 1969 , Winchester , Hampshire ) is a British entrepreneur playing a key role in the gas business in the former USSR.
Biography
Born in 1969 in Winchester . From 1987 to 1991 he studied at the University of Surrey , receiving a bachelor's degree in linguistics and international affairs. During my studies I was on internships in Kiev several times, where I studied on a special course for foreign students at the Kiev Institute of Foreign Languages .
C 1991 was engaged in business in Kiev .
From 1993 to 1994 he headed the real estate agency Jones East 8 in Kiev. The key clients of this agency are foreign embassies in Kiev and large international companies. In 1994, he became co-director of the Kiev branch of DG Jones & Partners, a leading international consultant on the definition of estimates for construction projects. From 1997 to 1999, Shetler-Jones worked at Commonwealth Property Investors, part of the AEW International group, where he coordinated the work of a mutual investment fund with a capital of $ 50 million. Since 2000, he served as the General Director of the Kiev real estate development company Dnipro Pier.
Shetler-Jones registered RSJ Erste Beteilingungsgesellschaft GmbH (RSJ - the initials of the owner) in Hamburg. This company owns 90% of the shares of Krymsky Soda Plant OJSC ( Krasnoperekopsk ) and 50% of shares of Krymsky Titan CJSC ( Armyansk ) [1] .
He was part of the management of Eural TransGas , and after creating the ETG successor, RosUkrEnergo is a member of the Coordinating Committee of the company. [2] Shetler-Jones officially represented Raiffeisen Investment in the coordination council of RosUkrEnergo, being a trust shareholder for Dmitry Firtash . After Raiffeisen Investment left the shareholders, he ceased to be a member of the coordination council. But, since he remained to work as a manager of Dmitry Firtash, in March 2007 he again joined the RosUkrEnergo coordinating council.
In 2007, Shetler-Jones became the chief executive officer of Group DF (GDF) ( Dmitry Firtash Group).
