General information
Surface area - 5.4 km². The volume of water is 7.5 million m³. The catchment area is 343 km². [1] The height above sea level is 169.5 m. The length of the coastline is 12 km. [2] Water level fluctuations throughout the year are 2 m. [1]
Geography
Located 10 km south of the city of Lyakhovichi . On the shore is the village of Naberezhnoe . The road P43 runs 0.5 km to the south. Minichi village is 1.5 km south. [four]
History
It was built in 1985 for water supply to the city of Baranavichy , irrigation of farmland, fish farming and recreation [1] .
In 2007, the Minichi HPP (Shchara HPP) [5] with a capacity of 90 kW [6] was built on the spillway of the reservoir.
