Kalinin, Peter Mikhailovich

Pyotr Mikhailovich Kalinin ( Belorussian. Pyotr Mihailavich Kalinin ; June 23, 1956 ) is a Soviet and Belarusian karate player and karate trainer ( Shotokan style, VIII dan ). USSR Master of Sports , champion of the USSR and Belarus , multiple winner of international competitions, honored coach of Belarus (1997). One of the veterans of Belarusian karate, having started studying in the late 1970s in the first group at the Institute of Physical Education, where he then studied. Later he studied himself and with different teachers. The last and main teacher is the Serbian doctor Ilya Jorga [1] , the founder of the Fudokan style [2] .

He studied the styles of Shotokan , Shito-ryu , Kyokushinkai (8 kyu , IFK ), sekai no kempo (1st dan), Fudokan (8th dan). He studied at the University of California's Martial Arts Academy. Since the late 1970s, he has also been working as a karate and hand-to-hand combat trainer.

A member of the Sekai team at the Wushu festival in Riga ( 1988 ) and the martial arts in Kiev ( 1989 ).
