Story
Xavier, a French student ( Romain Duris ), thinks about his future profession, and his father sends him to his friend who is ready to get Xavier to work if he receives a diploma in Spanish economics , since this topic is considered very relevant. To this end, he is invited to go to Spain to study the economy of this country, and Xavier goes to Barcelona under the Erasmus student exchange program, leaving his girlfriend alone ( Audrey Tautou ).
On the plane, he meets a French neurologist and his wife Ann-Sophie ( Judith Godres ), with whom he lives until he finds an apartment that is rented by a group of students from different countries. The entire film is about the relationship between these characters.
Movie Idea
Several ideas can be seen: to show the torment of young people under the age of 30 regarding the choice of life path, as well as the relationship of different nations within the European Union.
The sequel is the 2005 film Beauty . In 2013, the third film in the series, " Chinese Puzzle ", was released.
