Located on the highway Pyatnitskoe - Red . In Sotnikovsky Vyselki there is a turn to the former center of the village council, the village of Sukhodil .
Formed no later than the 20th century . The village was founded by immigrants from the neighboring village of Sotnikovo (located 5 km to the north), hence the name.
Mentioned in the study of private land tenure of Lebedyansky district of Tambov province in the autumn months of 1888. The owner is a merchant A.Popov (Collection of statistical data on Tambov province. Volume 17. Private land ownership of Lebedyansky district. Tambov. 1891.).
