My family (TV show)

The program discussed various types of family problems ^{[7] [8]} . Both professional psychologists and actors, musicians and so on participated. Conversations were usually held in the studio, in an impromptu large kitchen. The design of the studio changed in the fall of 2002 .

The program was very popular among viewers. Komissarov explained her success as follows:

“There is no secret: the human problems referred to in My Family never become obsolete. I have always dealt with and still do not deal with momentary, but with “eternal” topics, such as love, hatred, relations between a man and a woman. They have always aroused keen interest. In the summer of the past [2000, the Komissssarov interview itself gave in 2001], when RTR repeated daily releases of the old episodes of “My Family” every day, their ratings were just crazy! This only confirms that ordinary human life is always in the spotlight. They watch the program because it is problematic, it has many family conflicts that we are trying to figure out. She is moderately moralizing, moderately ironic, simple and friendly ” ^[9] .

At the same time, Komissarov’s talk show also often provoked critical opinions from some viewers (including famous people) ^{[10] [11]} , who called “My Family” one of the examples of vulgarity and bad taste on the Russian television screen ^{[12] [13 ] ] [14] [15]} , within the framework of which “family exoticism is presented by artists of burnt theaters” ^{[4] [16] [17]} . The excessive frankness of the guests invited to the studio was also criticized ^[18] . Some critics attributed My Family to the worst projects that existed then in the broadcast network of the RTR channel ^{[19] [20]} ; After rebranding the RTR channel and changing the name to “Russia”, one of the articles suggested that with the change of the channel’s management in 2002, the talk show format became a little more decent ^[21] .

Initially, they wanted to close the program back in the spring of 2003, but then the information was refuted by the presenter himself ^[22] . The final decision to close it was made in the summer of 2003 , when Valery Komissarov joined the United Russia party and took up politics, as well as new television projects ^{[23] [24] [25]} .

On a red background are a table, chairs and flowers. Then a TV is shown showing a girl holding a doll. Further, the whole room with things from the room turns into a television studio, and the name of the talk show is displayed on the screen.

1996-2002: first, the entrance to the room is shown against a dark background. In 1998, the Gentleman's show program showed a parody of the program, where the host was portrayed by Oleg Filimonov , and the program itself was called “My Swedish Family”. Later, in the section “Let's play in the box”, another parody was called “Your Family”. The presenter was also parodied by Oleg Filimonov .

Since 1999, Valery Komissarov began to engage in politics, was elected to the State Duma , so some issues of 1999 and 2000 were held by Inna Ulyanova , Natalya Varley and Lyudmila Kasatkina .
