The Chamber Choir of the Moscow Conservatory is a chamber choir , created on the initiative of Professor A. S. Sokolov in December 1994 by conductor Boris Tevlin .

History

The team is a Grand Prix laureate and winner of two gold medals at the International Choir Competition in Riva del Garda (Italy, 1998); laureate of I prize and winner of the Gold Medal of the I International Choir Competition named after Brahms at Wernigerode (Germany, 1999); winner of the 1st World Choir Olympics in Linz (Austria, 2000); laureate of “Grand Prix” of the XXII International Competition of Orthodox Church Music “Hajnówka” (Poland, 2003).

The geography of the choir tour: Russia, Austria, Germany, Italy, China, Poland, USA, Ukraine, France, Switzerland, Japan.

Since August 2012, the artistic director of the Chamber Choir of the Moscow Conservatory is the closest associate of Professor B. G. Tevlin, laureate of the international competition, associate professor of the Department of Contemporary Choral Performing Arts of the Moscow Conservatory Alexander Solovyov .

Team Creative Life

In recent months, the Chamber Choir has repeatedly performed in the Great Hall of the Conservatory with various programs, including “Three Russian Songs” by S. Rachmaninov (conductor - G. Rozhdestvensky), “Requiem” by V. A. Mozart (conductors - V. Yurovsky, L. Kontorovich), Requiem by J. Verdi (conductor - G. Dmitryak ); in the Rachmaninov Hall of the conservatory, the collective presented a large solo program, including samples of Russian choral classics, and processing of folk songs; took part in the international festival “The musical worlds of Yu. N. Kholopov” with the program of contemporary music (S. Gubaidulina, E. Denisov, A. Schnittke). The team led by A. Solovyov took part in the “Festival of Russian Culture in Japan-2012”, the program “Voices of Orthodoxy in Moldova”, the A. Lovel’s Capella Festival “Holy Love”, the “Moscow Autumn” International Festival, and the “Youth Festival” choral, chamber and symphonic music ”(St. Petersburg), the International Music Festival“ Rodion Shchedrin. 80 years old ", All-Russian festival" Harmony and Peace ", I International Open Festival of Arts" Victory Day is dedicated to ...
