Geography

It borders with the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region.

The main thoroughfares are Grazhdansky Prospekt , Prospekt Enlightenment , Suzdal Avenue , Rustaveli Street .

The border passes: from Murinsky Stream along the extension of the axis of Ushinsky Street, then along the axis of Ushinsky Street and its extension to the border with the Vsevolozhsky District of the Leningrad Region. Further to the southeast along the land boundary of the Ruchi Academy of Public Utilities to the north side of the St. Petersburg - Vyborg allotment strip (Parnasskaya branch) and then along it reaches the St. Petersburg - Priozersk railway, crosses it and reaches the Central Streets of the city of Murino, Leningrad Region. Further along the axis of the railway crossing to the western side of the right of way Priozersky direction of the railway, further along the western side of the right of way of the Priozersky direction of the railway to the Murinsky stream, then along the axis of the Murinsky stream to continue Ushinsky street.

History

The municipality of Municipal District No. 21 of St. Petersburg was created in February 1998 (extract from protocol No. 11 of the election commission MO-21 on the voting results) on the basis of the Constitution of the Russian Federation (Articles 3; 130-133), Federal Law of 28.08 .95 No. 154 “On the General Principles of the Organization of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation”, the laws of St. Petersburg dated 06.23.97. No. 111-35 “On Local Self-Government in St. Petersburg” and dated December 31, 1996. No. 186-59 "On the territorial structure of St. Petersburg."
