Story

Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) is one of the world's most popular movie stars. Photos of episodes from the movies in which she starred are printed in each magazine; she does not have time to take a step, as the whole world already knows about him.

William Tacker (Hugh Grant) - owner of a shop selling guidebooks. Life is not sugar: a friend and roommate is just awful, and since divorcing his wife, William has not had a relationship with women.

They both feel that someone or something is missing in their lives. And when the paths of Anna and William suddenly and surprisingly intersect in such an unusual place as Notting Hill ( London ), the last thing they think about is a love affair. After a series of events, meetings and partings, the couple has to resolve the insoluble question: can two people love each other when the whole world watches them?
