The final match took place on July 16, 1999 at the Central Stadium of the city of Alma-Ata.
The winner of the Cup was the Kyzylorda Kaisar-Hurricane , who beat Ust-Kamenogorsk Vostok-Altyn in the final.

Tournament Scheme
Competitions in the framework of the Cup of Kazakhstan 1998 - 1999 were held from May 6, 1998 to July 16, 1999, clubs that played in the major league were allowed to participate in them.
At each stage of the tournament, except for the final match, the teams divided by lot by lot played 2 matches, as a result of which the losing side left the tournament.
The winners of the pairs met each other taking into account a certain draw of the tournament grid. Venues for the first and return matches were also determined by lot (the team named first was the home team in the first match).
In the event of a tie following the results of two games, the rule of advantage of the team that scored more goals in a foreign field was applied at first, and in other cases 2 additional halves of 15 minutes were assigned, the game in which lasted until the first goal scored.
In the event of a tie and after extra time, the winner will be determined in the penalty shoot-out .
