Biography

He was born on November 9, 1916 in the village of Lyakhi, now Melenkovsky District, Vladimir Region, in a peasant family. Russian. After graduating from five classes, he moved to the working village of Shimorskoye, Vyksa district, Gorky region, with his father, who worked at a shipyard. Here he graduated from the 7th grade, then studied for two years at the Gorky College of the River Fleet.

I went to work at the Shimorsky shipyard . First, a turner student, and then a turner. At the factory he was one of the first Stakhanovites , was elected secretary of the Komsomol committee. Since October 1936, at Komsomol work, he was a propagandist in the political department of the Moscow-Oka River Shipping Company. He lived in the city of Ryazan , studied at the flying club.

In 1937 he graduated from the Ulyanovsk flight school of Osoaviakhim. He worked in it as an instructor, then as the commander of a detachment of an aero club of the city of Dzerzhinsk in the Gorky region. Here I met the beginning of World War II.

In November 1941 he was mobilized into the Red Army. Since February 1942 in the army. The combat path began on the Kalinin Front as part of a flight bomber regiment. On a biplane, the Po-2 made about 50 sorties. He flew in contact with the partisans in the area of ​​the city of Rzhev , with the horse corps of General Dovator during his deep raid on the enemy rear. In October 1942 he graduated from fighter pilot courses, mastered the Yak fighter and was appointed a pilot in the 163rd Fighter Aviation Regiment. As part of the regiment, he fought on the Central , 1st Belorussian , 1st , 2nd , 3rd Baltic Fronts. He was a flight commander, senior pilot, deputy and squadron commander. He took part in the battle on the Kursk Bulge , the liberation of Belarus , Poland . He was not only a good fighter pilot, master of night flights, but also an excellent scout .

By March 1945, the squadron commander Major Konyshev completed 287 sorties, conducted 41 air battles, in which he shot down 18 enemy aircraft. He was introduced to the title of Hero of the Soviet Union .

Victory Day met in the position of navigator of the regiment . In total, during the years of the war, he made 296 sorties, out of 50 - on the Po-2, conducted 53 air battles and shot down 18 enemy aircraft.

After the war he continued to serve in the army. Since 1960, Lieutenant Colonel Konyshev is in stock. He lived in the capital of Latvia , Riga . He worked in the Latvian Civil Aviation Administration. Then he moved to his homeland, lived in the city of Dzerzhinsk. He died on August 15, 1972.
