Miklos Mesøy ( Hungarian. Mészöly Miklós ; January 19, 1921 , Szekszard - July 22, 2001 , Budapest ) - Hungarian poet, prose writer, playwright, essayist, author of books for children, one of the most significant and authoritative Hungarian writers of the second half of the 20th century.

Biography

He graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Budapest ( 1942 ). In 1943 - 1944 he was at the front, deserted. After the war, he worked in the newspaper of his native city, served as editor at the Budapest Puppet Theater. Debuted as a prose writer in 1948 .
