Guryevsky District is an administrative-territorial unit of the Kazak Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic that existed in 1928 - 1930 and 1933 - 1936 .

District 1928-1930
Guryevsky district was formed on January 17, 1928 from part of the Ural province . The center of the district was the city of Guryev . The district was divided into 6 districts:
- Dossor district . Center - Dossor village
- Zhilokosinsky district . Center - Residential Spit Village
- Ispulsky district . Center - village number 9
- Kzyl-Kuginsky district . Center - Kzyl-Kuga village
- Novobogatinsky district . Center - Novobogatinsky village
- Yamanhalinsky district . Center - Yamanhalinsky village
On July 15, 1928 , the Dengiz district with its center in the village of Ganyushkino was included in the district . On September 17, the Zhilkosinsky district was transferred to the Adaevsky District , but in the same year it was turned back to the Guryevsky District.
On April 10, 1929, the Mangystau district, with its center in the city of Fort Aleksandrovsky, was transferred from the abolished Adaevsky District to Guryevsky.
September 22, 1930 The Ispulsky, Novobogatinsky and Yamanhalinsky districts were united in the Guryevsky district with the center in the city of Guryev . On the same day, the Kzyl-Kuginsky district was annexed to Dossorsky.
On December 17, 1930, the district, like all other districts of the Kazak Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, was abolished, and its areas were transferred directly to the republican authorities.
District 1933-1936
July 1, 1933 in the southern part of the West Kazakhstan region was formed Guryevsky district with its center in the city of Guryev . It was divided into 4 districts:
- Guryevsky district. Center - Guryev city
- Dengiz district. Center - Ganyushkino village
- Zhilokosinsky district. Center - Residential Spit Village
- Mangistau district. Center - Fort Alexandrovsky
On July 17, 1933, the Ural-Emba district of the West Kazakhstan region with the center in the Dossor fields was included in the district. On September 5 of the same year, the district was abolished. On August 31, 1933 , the Ispulsky District was formed from a part of the Guryevsky District, centered in the village of Kulagino.
On December 5, 1936, the Guryev district was abolished, and its areas became directly subordinate to the West Kazakhstan region.
