Metro Bridge ( Ukrainian: Metro Metro ) is the first metro bridge across the Dnieper in Kiev . The author of the project and the chief engineer is Georgy Borisovich Fuchs [1] . Opened November 5, 1965 . A two-tier structure for the movement of metro trains (upper tier, in the middle) and vehicles (lower, on the sides). It was built next to the former location of the Chain Bridge , destroyed in 1920 , and created on its basis the Eugenia Bosch Bridge , blown up during the Great Patriotic War . Metro Bridge is the world's first dry-running arched structure in terms of girders. The consoles are composed of separate reinforced concrete blocks connected by metal bolts.

The Metro bridge together with the Rusanovsky bridge connects the right-bank part of Kiev with Rusanovka , the Left Bank , Voskresenka , the Forest, the recreation area - Hydropark .
On the right bank of the Dnieper, the bridge is completed by the Dnipro station of the Kiev Metro .
Since 2008, the bridge has the status of “just identified object of cultural heritage”, a monument of architecture and urban planning, science and technology (security number 529/2-Kv) [2] .
