History
The founder and leader of the Neonaut group is Anton Sevidov. At the time of the founding of the group, Anton was 22 years old. By this time, he took part in world tours as part of the Talents of Russia project in 1992, received a grand prix at the International Crystal Note festival in 1997 [1] and at the I All-Russian competition of young composers Crystal Tuning Fork in 1998 year [2] . Also in the 90s, Anton tried to organize music groups: Citric Acid, Da Funk, Biotonik. However, all of them did not receive fame.
In 2003, Anton organized a new musical project, "Neonaut." The initial composition of the group corresponded to the standards of the rock group (two guitars, bass, drums, keys, vocals). The very first composition of the collective "Void" gets on " Our Radio " and goes on the collection "Invasion. Step XIII ” [3] . The team performs at the festival " Invasion 2003. Free Access ", which, due to the threat of terrorist attacks, takes place in the studio of Our Radio. "Neonaut" begins an active concert activity. Music journalists compare the style of musicians with the bands Radiohead and Coldplay [4] .
Neonaut takes part in studio work on Bi-2 projects. The composition of the collective “Still Afraid” was released as part of the Odd Warrior project, and two remixes from the Neonavt group on the songs Flowers and My Rock and Roll were released on the Drum [a] compilation.
In early 2006, Anton Sevidov arrives in Berlin at the invitation of Chris Corner, frontman of the cult IAMX and Sneaker Pimps , where he spent more than a month in the studio. Several songs have already been recorded by the group in Russia, but in Berlin their sound has completely changed. Formed a new electronic sound of the group. The result of the work was nine tracks that formed the basis of the debut album "Inhale Me".
However, publishers could not be found on the recorded material, so the album remained only in the form of files for download. On February 28, 2007, Anton Sevidov officially announced the closure of the Neonavt project on his blog, while simultaneously posting the full version of the album “Inhale Me” in the public domain [5] . Despite the absence of a publisher and promotional campaigns, the release was able to get the “List of the best albums in Russian pop-rock music-2007” according to the newspaper “ Vremya Novostei ” [6] .
At the end of 2008, Anton Sevidov organized a new Tesla Boy project.
