Akmola district is an administrative-territorial unit of the Kazak Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , which existed in 1928 - 1930 .

The Akmola district was formed on January 17, 1928 from parts of the Akmola and Semipalatinsk provinces. The center of the district was designated the city of Akmolinsk . The district was divided into 15 districts:

- Atbasar district . Center - Kazgorodok village
- Karaganda region . Center - Kokuzek village

- Leninsky district . Center - Oksanovskoye village

On August 16, 1929, the Asan-Kayginsky District was renamed the Zhana-Arkinsky District .
On December 17, 1930, the district, like all other districts of the Kazak Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, was abolished, its areas were enlarged and transferred directly to the republican authorities.
