Bone Remover

Kostylevyderdivatel - the traveling tool for removal of crutches from wooden cross ties and bars. It is used in the repair and maintenance of the railway track .

Varieties and Principles of Operation

Kostylevydatyvatel is used when disassembling old-year links, as well as when changing unusable rails, sleepers, transfer and bridge beams, alteration of the track.

Until the late 1950s, manual crutches and pneumatic bone crushers were used, manually moved on 4-wheel trolleys. Bone pullers had gas engines. The mass of such crutches is 45 kilograms.

In the 1960s, the use of electro-hydraulic crutches was started, which are compact units with an electric drive of a plunger pump, which pumps the working fluid into the hydraulic cylinder , kinematically connected with tick clamps. During the reciprocating movement of the plunger, the pistons of the hydraulic cylinder together with the housing move upward, pulling out a crutch, the head of which is in the tick-borne grip.
