Wz.29 ( Polish: Samochód pancerny wz. 29 - “1929 model armored car”) - Polish armored car of the 1930s . The first armored car of a completely Polish design, wz.29 was created by designer R. Gundlach on the chassis of a Ursus A truck in 1929 . In 1931 , the Ursus factory , which supplied the chassis, and the Warsaw Central Automobile Workshops, which supplied the armored corps, assembled 13 armored vehicles of this type. Wz.29 remained in service with Poland until the outbreak of World War II . On September 1, 1939 , there were still 8 units remaining in the troops, which were actively used in the September battles , during which all were lost or destroyed by crews in order to exclude the enemy’s capture.
