Biography
The daughter of the popular artist Leonid Kmit (real name Alexei), who met as a young man with 15-year-old Alexandra Demyanenko, a circus performer and saxophonist. Inna was born when her parents were still almost children themselves, their life together was short-lived, they divorced, Inna remained with her father. Subsequently, Alexandra Demyanenko was arrested on charges of espionage and died in prison at the age of 36 years (1952).
Inna Kmit graduated from the Higher Theater School named after M. S. Shchepkin . In 1956, she starred in the comedy of Semyon Derevyansky and Rafail Suslovich “ She Loves You ”, where George Vitsin , already becoming a popular actor, was her partner. Alexander Shirvindt made his debut in the same picture. A year later, Inna Kmit played Anisya in the criminal historical drama Ivan Pravov, " In the Power of Gold, " based on the stories of D. N. Mamin-Sibiryak . She played in the Lenkom Theater . Fame came to her, the actress began to be recognized. Such a brilliant career began abruptly ended in the late 1950s due to a conflict with Anatoly Efros . The actress left the theater and graduated from the director's courses, worked for 25 years on Central Television as the director of the television program Vremya .

Personal life
The first husband of Inna Kmit was the diplomat and personal translator of HC Khrushchev and L.I. Brezhnev Viktor Sukhodrev , who enjoyed the special confidence of the leaders of the state. The second husband (also a divorce) actor Boris Bystrov , from whom was born the daughter Ekaterina Kmit , who continued the acting dynasty.
She was buried in Moscow at the Kuntsevsky cemetery next to her father.
