Tetu-Mamontotiai [3] [4] (Tetumamontotiai [5] , Tetu-Mamon-To-Tyai [4] , Tetemamontotiai [6] ) is a lake on the border of the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Districts ( Tyumen Region ) between the upper reaches of the Apakapur and Vatyogan rivers [4] to the southeast of the city of Noyabrsk . The name of the lake comes from the forest Nenets Chet “ma that” , which means 'A huge lake with a place out of the water' [6] .

Such fish species as crucian carp , burbot , perch , sturgeon , sterlet , pike live in the lake [7] .
