Biography
A native of Qom . He studied in Nishapur , worked in Tabriz .
His full name is Nizamuddin al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Hussein al-Araj al-Qummi al-Naisaburi. He wrote a very popular “Solar Treatise on Arithmetic”, comments on a number of works by Nasir al-Din at-Tusi , as well as a commentary on “Ilkhan Zij.”
Nizamuddin al-Nisaburi is the author of an interpretation of the Qur'an called , known as Tafsir al-Nisaburi.
