Budapest Street (St. Petersburg)

Budapest Street is one of the main streets of the Frunze district of St. Petersburg , connecting the sleeping district of Kupchino with the city center. It starts from Fucik Street and ends by crossing Malaya Balkanskaya Street .

History

The name of the street was given on January 16, 1964 in honor of the capital of Hungary, Budapest [1] .

In June 2014, at the intersection with Glory Avenue , the construction of an elevated pedestrian crossing was completed [2] .
