Early life
Born in Stockholm . The youngest child in the family (sister - Anna). When she was not even ten years old, her parents divorced, and she remained to live with her mother. In 1998 , when Sarah Lumholdt attended a choreographic school, she was noticed by the producers of the Stockholm Records company, recruiting teenagers in a new pop group. In 1999, the group, dubbed A * Teens , achieved great success in Sweden and several other European countries thanks to The ABBA Generation , an album consisting of cover versions of ABBA songs. In subsequent years, the group switched to performing their own songs and performed in many countries around the world.
After A * Teens
Contrary to the expectations of many fans, after the actual collapse of A * Teens in 2004, Sarah Lumholdt left show business and for a long time did not start a solo career. Only in 2007 did she take herself the stage name Sara Love and released two songs. The first, Physical , was a cover version of Olivia Newton-John’s song of the same name and entered the promo album of the Swedish clothing company WeSC . The second track, Glamor Bitch , was released as a single and reached 57th place in the national hit parade. Subsequently, Sarah abandoned the pseudonym and in the summer of 2008 already under her real name posted the song First on MySpace . She also recorded her debut album Back to You (originally called My Saranade ) in Los Angeles , but there were difficulties with the release, and in the end the album was never released.
Sarah took part in Melodifestivalen 2011 , where the representative of Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was determined. It is noteworthy that the co-host of the contest was her ex-girlfriend and participant in A * Teens, Marie Serneholt . Sarah performed in the third semifinal with the song Enemy , took only 7th place and did not reach the final.
After failures with the album and at Melodifestivalen, Sarah stopped her career in show business. She began to professionally engage in pole-dance , since 2010 she worked as an instructor, and in 2014 she won the Swedish national pole-dance championship [1] .
In 2018, she married Chris Noble. [2]
