Biological Description
Lithophyte . The rhizome is short. Leaves are thin up to 8 cm wide, 32 cm long.
The flowers are hanging, the petals are dark red in color, whitish at the base.
Range, environmental features
Venezuela , on the Sipapo River in the Amazon .
Etymology
The plant is named after Galfrid Clement Keyworth Dunsterville (1905-1988), a British engineer at Shell, an orchid collector who discovered Paphinia dunstervillei in 1969 .
