Opensparc


OpenSPARC is an open source SPARC microprocessor development project launched in December 2005. The project was launched by Sun Microsystems , a fully open source Verilog source for its 64-bit, 32-bit UltraSPARC T1 processor. On March 21, 2006, Sun released the T1 IP core code under the GNU General Public License .

On December 11, 2007, Sun revealed the UltraSPARC T2 processor code.
