Biography

In 1966 he graduated from the directing department of VGIK (workshop of documentary films of the People's Artist of the USSR I.P. Kopalin ).

Since 1965 he worked at the Leningrad Documentary Film Studio , filming mainly on the topics of pedagogy and child welfare (documentaries "Alma Mater Embankment", "18 My Boys", "Debt", "Captain's Field", "Dangerous Age" ”,“ Find Yourself ”,“ Evening Conversation ”,“ Dreamers ”,“ Hour X ”, etc.).

Since 1977 - director of the film studio " Lenfilm ", the debut in feature films - the short story "Version" in the triptych "Zavialovsky cranks" based on the stories of Vasily Shukshin .

Since 1996 - artistic director of the video studio LOIRO .
