Biography
Club career
Juan Marvessee began his career in 1934 at the Club Argentino . Marvescy played there (with a break for Bella Vista) until 1937 , when he decided to join the Tigre club.
In "Tigre" Marvessi made his debut on June 13 in a match with the club " Indepellent ", which "Tigre" won 4: 1. On July 4, Marvescy scored for his team the first goal against Taliers (5: 2 win for Tigre).
In 1942, Marvessey goes to the Racing club from Avellaneda , where he makes his debut in a friendly match with the Uruguayan club Penarol , immediately scoring 4 goals. But, despite a good start, the season in “Racing” Marcessey was not very rich in goals, and the football player decided to return to “Tigre”.
In 1943, Marvessey returned to Tigre, but was short-lived, the same year the player ended his career. In total, for “Tigre” Marvesi held 173 matches and scored 116 goals, still being the top scorer of “Tigre” in history [1] .
In the national team
In the Argentina national team, Marvesi held 9 matches and scored 9 goals, he and the team won the South American Championship in 1941 and became the top scorer of the tournament there. In the match against the national team of Ecuador scored five goals [2] .
