Volodar Viktorovich Kraevsky ( June 23, 1926 - April 8, 2010 ) - Russian scientist in the field of pedagogy , honored worker of science of the Russian Federation, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, full member of the Russian Academy of Education .

Biography

Born on June 23, 1926 in Samara .

  • 1948-1954 - teacher, inspector-methodologist.
  • 1950 - graduated from the Kuibyshev Pedagogical Institute .
  • 1958-1966 - Editor of the Enlightenment Publishing House.
  • 1966-1984 - Researcher, Head. Laboratory of General Problems of Didactics, Research Institute of General Pedagogy, USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences
  • 1984-1993 - Head of the Department of Pedagogy of the Institute for Retraining and Further Training of Scientific, Pedagogical and Leading Personnel of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR ( Russian Academy of Education )
  • 1993-2004 - Academic Secretary of the Department of Philosophy and Theoretical Pedagogy of the Russian Academy of Education.

He died on April 8, 2010. He was buried in Moscow at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery [1] .

Scientific activity

Professional interests are concentrated in the field of pedagogy , methodology of pedagogy, didactics . The author of about 300 works, including those published abroad.

He developed the concept of the methodology of pedagogy as a system of knowledge about the foundations and structure of pedagogical theory, about the principles of the approach and ways of acquiring knowledge that reflects pedagogical reality, as well as a system of activities for obtaining such knowledge and substantiating programs, logic and methods, and evaluating the quality of special scientific research.

Together with scientists M.N. Skatkin , I. Ya. Lerner substantiated 4 types of elements of the content of education:

  1. The system of knowledge about nature, society, thinking, technology, methods of activity.
  2. Experience in implementing methods of activity already known to society.
  3. The experience of creative activity, designed to ensure readiness to search for solutions to new problems, to creatively transform reality.
  4. Experience and norms of emotional-volitional attitude to the world, to each other, which, together with knowledge and skills, are conditions for the formation of beliefs and ideals, value systems, and the spiritual sphere of the individual.
