Flies ad-Din Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Abi-i-Shukr al-Maghribi ( Arabic: محي الدين المغربي ; c. 1220 , Maghrib - c. 1283 , Merage ) - mathematician and astronomer of the state of the Hulaguids . He worked in Damascus , from 1260 - at the Maragha Observatory Nasir al-Din at-Tusi .

He composed a series of comments on the works of Euclid , Apollonius , Theodosius , Menelaus , Ptolemy . He wrote A Treatise on the Figure of Secants, A Book on Astrolabe, A Treatise on the Method for Determining Sines in a Circle, A Book on Determining the Equation of the Day, East Amplitude, and the Angle of Rotation of the Celestial Sphere by the Geometric Method.
