Content
History
The company was founded in 1937 as Trans-Canada Airlines (TCA) and was called so until 1964 . In 1949, the company’s headquarters moved from Winnipeg ( Manitoba ) to Montreal, where it is currently located. Since July 1984, the Aeroplan program has been in place to reward customers. In 1989, airlines were privatized. In 1997, she founded the Star Alliance together with several airlines. In 2000, the company took over the second largest Canadian airline, Canadian Airlines .
